Note:

  • 03/02/2020 - 1. Ensure smoke detectors are 3' from edge of fan blades and from vents, also they need to be interlinked with those in the house. 2. Ensure smoke detector in hallway is a combo smoke/CO 3. R-30 in existing attic, needs to be R-49 minimum 4. Exterior walls are 2x4 with R-13, should be R-20, REScheck might work for tradeoff in walls 5. Another option would be to add an exterior insulation system (2" of foam with exterior cladding etc) 6. Add a weatherstripping to attic access.
